Amigen was founded on a simple but radical idea: that the most powerful technology for the creative industry should be shaped by creatives and marketeers, not engineers. Our work sits at the intersection of fine art, creative art direction, brand marketing know-how, and responsible AI technology, creating a new system for brands to imagine, produce, and scale visual worlds.
We are not building generic AI tools. We are building fashion-native intelligence: systems that understand garments, bodies, light, narrative, and brand culture as deeply as they understand data.
Our flagship product, Amigen AI Fashion Studio, unites hyper-realistic image and video generation, our intelligent fashion co-pilot Amie, and Visual Brand Memory into one unified creative platform for global brands.
AMIGEN is a Hamburg-based enterprise generative AI platform for fashion, founded in 2024 by Arup J. Paul.
Amigen began not in a lab, but in a studio.
Our founder, Arup J. Paul, is a Florence-trained portrait artist whose career spans classical fine art, digital media, and global technology.
His 2023 exhibition, "Not a Photograph", demonstrated that AI-generated portraits could carry the emotional depth, realism, and presence of traditional oil painting, challenging the boundaries between art and computation.
This artistic foundation became the blueprint for Amigen. Instead of asking "What can AI do?", we asked:
"What does fashion need AI to be?"
The answer was clear: a system that respects craft, protects brand identity, and gives creative leaders unprecedented control over image and motion.
That vision became Amigen AI Fashion Studio.
